What is Biographical Counselling?

Biographical Counselling is therapeutic work that integrates healing and development. It is grounded on the principles of Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophy, or ‘wisdom of the human being’. It stems from Biography Work which started in the mid-1970s, and was developed by Bernard Lievegoed, a Dutch psychiatrist and psychotherapist, whose many initiatives in social, curative and therapeutic work evolved out of Steiner’s research.
